Grave of the Fireflies

For all those who love watching emotional movies,I would like to ask whats the situation that makes you feel for it the most?Well,if you think you've checked out everything emotional among movies, just go for 'Grave of the Fireflies'.I would say that if you haven't seen this movie, you are missing a big chunk out of your life and time..When I saw the movie,I could hardly prevent myself from going in depression.Thats the magic of this greatest tragedies of all times..Perhaps,the only Indian movie that can match to the tragedies of this movie is either 'Dosti' or 'Jaagte Raho'..
Now vieweres, the important thing about this movie is that this is animation..How strange that we have been watching 'Tom and Jerry' for this long and expecting that animations are just for making us laugh...Well,this is true fact that most of the movie lovers don't go for animations saying that they are more fun than real..Still,who want to break the jinx try out 'Shrek' or 'Lion King' or 'Little Mermaid'.
But about 'Grave of the Fireflies',I would say that the emotion and sentiment which has been drawn in the movie can't be done by real actors.
This is a Japanese movie,a story(which indeed is real) about an orphan boy who takes care of his 4 year sister. Now even while writing this Post,I feel my heart beat is getting low when I memorise the moments in the movie and the dialogues between the brother and sister.
I used to think before that Japan really doesn't have much good actors in post 'Seven Samurai' era,but then be it Akira Kurosawa of 'Seven Samurai' or Isao Takahata of 'Hoturo na haka' aka 'Grave of the Fireflies',the answer is simple.they have some of the best directors with the most sensible understanding of human nature. The film was released in 1988 but the graphics used are quiet fine. However,it doesn't require much complexities of sci-fi or modern day drama or horror. It's simple heartwreching. So,people,if u have seen it,let me know your comments.
If you have not, just come into the enlightened world of movie wisdom.
